We have brought this sled in and the only problem we have had with her is there is not enough snow to go go and go on her. The yamaha venture lite is not tippy and she starts perefect. Anyone says that this machine is no good, they are no good and needs a reality check.....I loves my Yamaha venture lite..........

Hate this machine. It is way too heavy and the front end sinks in the snow. Once stuck, forget it, leave it, run and hide. If you never leave a groomed trail this may work, however the tipping over is dangerous. We called the sled the Blue Bird because its the size of a bus and goes in the snow just like a bus. I had to get rid of it at the dealer.

Don't buy this machine.

This is a decent sled if you ride single most of the time but want the ability to go two up. If you are riding two up, need to ride strictly trail as it can be tipping in and out of ditches.

The power is very good and it pulls strong up to 70 mph. It has been very reliable for me, is a good rider as a solo, (and a good size sled for my 13 y/o son). My two complaints would be it is a bit tippy and the exhaust is quite loud for a four stroker. High points are ride position (can ride all day and feel good at the end of the day), reliability and and mid range power (again, this is a relatively inexpensive sled). Good bang for the buck.

i know how you feel about this sled. its outright dangerous and once it tips yor euchred. i live up in timmins and im lucky to get it started most days, besides being nearly impossible to steer and the centre of gravity is too high you also go to worry about frozen relay for the fuel pump. definately a bad design by yamaha this time and it would be nice if they recalled the whole lot and gave the customer a fair trade. i personally feel that this sled could cause serious injury or death because of original design

Bought this machine to replace my 2001 venture XL. I spend more time uprighting it after tipping over than I do riding it.I am so disappointed I am looking to buy a different brand.

Help- I got this snowmobile last year and hate the handling on it. It is very tippy and doesn't want to turn at all. I thought it was just me but two of my husbands friends rode it and they both tipped it over! We have tried many different adjustments and tried working with the dealer service center and we can not come up with any solutions. If anyone else out there has one or has suggestions I would love to see some other posts!
