What was your first Snowmobile? Mine was a 1982 Arctic Cat 120, and what a thing of beauty it was. I don’t think I’ll ever forget making laps around the house, my eyes running puddles from the cold, my facial muscles paralyzed from the biting cold. Those were the greatest days of my life, in no small part because of my little Arctic Cat snowmobile. I wish I still had my faithful ride although by now it would clearly be considered a vintage Arctic Cat. That term somewhat annoys me. It sounds like some kind of wine that I paid too much for and didn’t really like anyway.
Arctic Cat Snowmobiles have been around for 40 years. It’s hard to believe that 40 years ago my grandpa was putting around on his used Arctic Cat snowmobile he picked up at a yard sale. I guess you could say Arctic Cat is a family tradition with me. My dad is currently running an Arctic Cat M1 snowmobile, and I’m riding an F6 EFI Arctic Cat snowmobile. When my son gets old enough I’ll be pulling into the drive way with his own Arctic Cat 120.
It’s interesting that Arctic Cat has so many snowmobiles to offer. Their current line up of 2007 sleds has 9 model lines ranging in price from a few thousand to well over 10 thousand. Makes you want to look up “used Arctic Cat snowmobiles” in the classifieds, or maybe look into servicing Arctic Cat snowmobiles for current owners.
As you can see from this site, there are plenty of pictures of Arctic Cat snowmobiles available. The F Series Tony Stewart model is just insane. I think that is the coolest looking Arctic Cat I’ve ever seen, although I might be more than a little embarrassed to show up on the trail sporting that bright orange machine. No man should be caught wearing orange outside of hunting season in my opinion.
If you are into Arctic Cat touring snowmobiles, or maybe Arctic Cat F6 snowmobiles, or just pictures of the 2007 Arctic Cat snowmobiles in showroom condition, you should be able to find anything you’re looking for on this website. You just have to know how to look.
