I put a whole season on my M8 sno pro and it is a blast to ride and climbs like a jet. I have put on powder pro slydog skis and what a difference it made on side hilling and playing in the meadows. My friends have a XP and a Yamaha Mountain and they rode it and said maybe they made a mistake. I made a mistake and should have waited till the '09 came out but guess what I'm getting one, the new upgrades and 22lbs lighter has alot of appeal. I'll tell you what ride one and you just might be convinced that this is the real deal.

I chose this sled because of the handling. They sidehill super sweet. I think its a matter of personal preference but honestly I think the rev is tougher to handle. I rode them both before and I loved this. I feel like I am in control more and I don't have to do anything to funky to get it to go where I want. Some of the guys I ride with have the longer tracks and they usually have the high mark but I get pretty close if I can get a run at it. As a beginner I thought an 800 would be too much but it really hasn't been.

I just got a 500.00 voucher from Arctic Cat, it was to compensate for the strong Canadian dollar, I bought my sled in April, so the prices have come down since then, nice gesture from them, makes me a happy customer!

I've put just over 150 miles on her, and she is amazing! The break in chip hasn't let her go full out yet, I can hardly wait!Quite a different ride than my 600 Mountain Cat, I have fallen over several times, it handles from a different center of gravity, but I am catching on to how it works. I have been in deep powder and doing some amazing hill climbing. I paid $12,500.00 Canadian, back in April,it's a 153 Challenger track with a D&D can on it, that's all the mods I'll do. I think it was money well spent. Some of my friends are thinking they would like to have one, my friends that are riding Ski Doo, I have nothing against the Rev, but it seems to have it's share of bugs. I like the variety of different sleds, but it's Arctic Cat all the way for me.And as for weight, I think it is one of the lightest sleds out there, it comes in at 462lbs dry, that's pretty light. No after market brackets needed to hold the tunnel in place.

Ok, I know I haven't actually taken it out yet, but I've been doing a lot of research. The M8 is all muscle, but I think the handling will be Ok dispite the extra lbs. The price is out of control, but I've been saving up for over 5 years.
